1. What types of screening activities are conducted in your school?

2. Do you feel that the SAT members should provide suggestions on changing the way the school operates so that it meets the needs of more students? Can you give an example of suggestions they might make?

3. Who participates in a Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team? What kinds of information might each of the members add to the process? Did you include parents?

4. Why do you think that reevaluation of the student is required?

5. As in the other lessons in this unit there are a considerable number of requirements involved in identifying students who qualify for special education programs. This can be time consuming and expensive. Please give an explanation of why this is important.
